For a Successful Party Cake
All changes to a cake order must be made no later than 24 hours before the cake is scheduled for pick up. Cake order cancelations must be made no later than 48 hours before pick up time in order to receive a deposit refund. Credit Card refunds will be given only if you bring in the original credit card that was charged. A fee of $2.00 handling may be deducted.
Wedding cakes and delivery charges must be paid two weeks before delivery. Delivery of small wedding cakes is not required and can be transported in your car. A 3-tier or layer cake MUST be delivered and set up by us.
Keep your cake out of the HEAT! Layer cakes require refrigeration until serving. Most birthday cakes do best kept at room temperature. Think of your cake as butter that melts easily and may ruin the design.
If the cake is to be served the following day, it is best to refrigerate it. Let it stand at room temperature for one hour before serving.
Cakes travel best in the flat middle area of your vehicle. We will provide non-skid mat to help prevent sliding if you request it. NO QUICK STOPS! NO SHARP TURNS!
Once your cake as left our shop, we are not responsible for damage to a cake. As a courtesy service we may, or may not, have time to repair the cake and a service fee will be charged.
Cake decorators do not always stay late, so pick up your cake at the scheduled time. Please call early if you need to pick it up before your scheduled time. Because we get booked up, it may or may not be possible to have the time changed unless you call 24 hours in advance.
We close at 3pm on Saturdays! Cakes MUST be picked up by closing time! Refunds will not be given for unclaimed cakes.
